The Application collects information when you download and use it. The application does not collect personal information. The application does not require the user to provide any personal, financial, or other private information and does not collect it during the use of the application. The main functionality of the application is designed to work with book files that are located on the user's device. User files or any information about the files are not collected or transmitted by the application. User files on the device are accessible only to the user of this device; the application does not change or forward files. When scanning for books, the application only accesses files in directories you specifically grant permission to access. The scanning process: • Only identifies book files (.pdf, .epub, etc.) • Does not upload file lists or content to any servers • Does not access or process non-book files • Only reads file metadata needed for organizing your library

The Application includes functionality to scan your device for supported book files (.pdf, .epub, etc.). This scanning: • Only occurs when explicitly initiated by you • Only scans directories you have granted access to • Does not upload file lists or content to our servers • Does not access personal or system files unrelated to supported book formats • Can be canceled at any time

KinReads does not provide, distribute, or sell any book content. The application functions solely as a reader for files that users already possess on their devices. We do not store, copy, or transmit the content of users' books to our servers. All book content remains on the user's device. Users are responsible for ensuring they have the legal right to possess and read any files they access through our application. KinReads does not encourage or condone copyright infringement in any form.

Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to help us improve the Application. We may share your information with third parties in the ways described in this privacy statement. Our Application uses third-party services that have their own Privacy Policies: • Google Play Services • Google Analytics for Firebase • Firebase Crashlytics We may disclose your information: • As required by law (such as to comply with a subpoena or legal process) • When we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or investigate fraud • With trusted service providers who work on our behalf, under confidentiality agreements

We will retain your data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. If you'd like us to delete your data provided via the Application, please contact us at support@kinreads.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

You can stop all collection of information by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes available through your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

We are committed to safeguarding your information. We implement appropriate physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the information we process and maintain. However, no security system is impenetrable and we cannot guarantee the security of our systems 100%.

We do not knowingly collect or solicit data from children under 13 years of age. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will immediately delete it from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@kinreads.com so we can take necessary actions.

By using the Application, you consent to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us. We reserve the right to update or change our Privacy Policy at any time, and you should check this Privacy Policy periodically.
